Art-Bites, London

“Art-Bites, London” is part of an international series about artwork, architecture and installations that I’ve enjoyed and are free to view. The series begins in my home city of London.

We are all mark makers and story tellers, but what inspires us?

for me it's light and colour: the two essential ingredients for any creative process

which is why I need to be mobile. So my "studio setup" is a MacBook Pro and a Cintiq Companion Hybrid (with hard-copy software) and for tube journeys and airports an iPhone with loads of Apps.

I was lucky enough to grow up in London and study at Chelsea Art College, so I've a mixed media approach to design, drawing from a range of disciplines. My sisters still live in London but now I'm a tourist who gets to share a world of galleries, light installations and events with a new generation. You may have seen the 3 of us scooting down the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern (before we were asked to leave).
